A New Paradigm of Healthcare

Health care systems, in this country and around the globe, are failing the very people that they were formed to serve.  The phenomenon happened slowly, over decades.  What is currently going on happened because of narrowly focusing on the immediate, overlooking the bigger picture. This reminds me of cooking a frog (forgive me for this metaphor, as just writing it makes me sad.) I have been told, to cook a frog, you must place it in tepid water, and very slowly, gradually, turn the heat up.  The frog will not know what happened to it, as its body temperature slowly rises.  However, if you attempt to put a frog in boiling water, it will immediately jump right out of the pot.  The frog knows its in danger, and it simply will not allow you to harm it.

Well, we have been slowly cooked.  As a physician, I have watched the collapse of the health care system.  I graduated from medical school in 2000, and back then it was already becoming obvious.  18 years later, I doubt there is anyone unaware of what is going on.

There is a silver lining to our current situation.  And that silver lining is opportunity.

Now healthcare can transform from a model of fear based dependence to a model of cooperative independence.

People have the innate capacity to heal themselves.  It is programed within all of us.  It is part of our human design.  Science has proven this.  Thanks to the phenomenal work of people like Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, and Joe Dispenza, we have access to overwhelming evidence in this regard.  We are energy bodies that are not victims of our genetics, but creators of our own bodies through epigenetics.

Currently, our global healthcare model is one of dependence on outward sources, knowledge and resources.  It is based in fear – if you don’t do this, this will happen.  If you don’t do that, take this, have this procedure done, you will get sick, or sicker than you already are.  Prevent this, attack that.  It sets our own bodies up as our enemies.   So often good people feel they must keep unsatisfying jobs, often with inadequate pay, just to have health insurance they don’t actually need.  It is a model of cause and effect steeped in fear.

The design of the human is based on the power within each individual to change and transform themselves, and thus the world, collectively, together.  Our beliefs change the expression of our genes – our genes are blueprints for proteins that will comprise the structure of our bodies.  It’s time to ask, “What expression of my blueprints do I want to be?”  Do I want to be a dilapidated, burned down shack? Or a magnificent, solid, strong, stunning structure standing in the sun, perched atop a cliff overlooking the ocean, with not a bad view in any room?

This is your choice.

This is our choice.

It’s time to empower ourselves and to stop believing in disease and dependence as outward things that we have no control over.  It’s time to start believing in the power within and come together to support one another as we transform…
